Give this one another chance to blaze!
We gave Firebolt another chance last week and what a demolition job he produced for us. We're hoping we can produce a similar result with Blazing Hearts in the last at Doomben tomorrow after having made the Show a Heart gelding a well-beaten headline tip a fortnight ago.
This Danny Bougoure-trained 5yo produced above-average figures when he stormed home to win over tomorrow's course three starts back.
He then turned in another enormous run in the Eye Liner when he sat wide and held on strongly for a 1.5 length fourth to Adnocon.
His last run was a very flat performance in the Glasshouse which we're prepared to overlook, bearing in mind that the horse returns to Doomben tomorrow where he is unbeaten at his two previous 1350 metre starts.
It may well be worth bearing in mind too, that Katsidis, who returns as his jockey tomorrow, has won on the horse the last two times he's been aboard.
We feel that if Blazing Hearts can reproduce his pre-Glasshouse form then he represents tremendous value at his current $6 quote.
It was a perfect score for our headline specials last week with all three getting home- Daytona Beach @ $6.50, Firebolt @ $2.40 and Doubtful Jack @ $1.70 (much better bet on Friday!)
This week's headline specials
Blazing Hearts (Doomben race 8)
Big Spirit (Caulfield race 8)
Adnocon (Rosehill race 6)

Whisper's horse racing tips steal the show!
No, they're not our words but we've copied our headline from one in last week's review posted on The Great Tip Off site where they reported on our three-from-three headline specials result last week.
And it was vintage Lindsay last week when his lay Startsmeup got rolled in the big $100k maiden in Brisbane. Startsmeup was one of the shortest priced runners on the program and was touted as best bet and best-backed runner in several other quarters, but the old boy had his radar back in excellent working order.
Lindsay will resume his lays when the spring racing resumes down south.

A little bit more Horsetorque magic!
Shock, horror, Gavin's horse went over last week and now he's only tipped eleven from the last fourteen! Incidentally, Gavin's quietly confident that last week's tip High Finance is much better than he showed last week and suggests that you stay on the scent. He's off to Adelaide for tomorrow's VIP special where he's very confident of a return to the winner's circle.
STREETCAR MAGIC (race 1 Morphetville) is a promising 3yo who looks very well placed here. He did a huge job for us last start when up in weight and trip and drawn off the track, he sat wide on the speed and still pulled out too many guns in the run to the line.
He brings a very strong confirmed edge in the ratings to this, only goes up half a kilo and gets the gun run behind the speed from the five gate.
He should finish right over the top of them, for mine.

Banana to kick them again!
The Mug's a beauty when it comes to sniffing out a mile winner, as his record in feature mile races shows. It's a far cry from group 1 class in the second at Doomben tomorrow but the Mug reckons that Banana Kick is in the process of building a first class mile record.
And who can argue when a perusal of the form guide shows the horse with three wins and two placings from his five mile starts. In fact, Banana Kick's only three wins from fourteen career starts are all at a mile - and that includes a win at tomorrow's course.
His trainer Brian Smith would get a broomstick over the line first at the moment and the Mug is confident that this horse has an excellent chance of bringing up a winning hat-trick tomorrow.
We saw what West Aussie visitor Hay List did to them over the carnival recently. Well, there's another western visitor in Spirited One having her first eastern state run in race 5 at Sydney tomorrow.
Now with John Thompson at Warwick Farm, this 5yo mare has some slick form back in Perth, including a 0.4 length third in the group 2 WFA Lee Steere last year.
She jumps from barrier one and has a great first-up record of three wins and two placings from six tries. She's worth a speculation according to the Mug at around a double eachway quote.
The Mug's gone for Diggersanddealers to keep his winning momentum going in race 4 at Caulfield tomorrow.
This field doesn't boast too much recent winning form and the 6yo is in a purple patch at the moment; he should be able to lead this field and prove hard to run down.
The interesting sideline to this race is that Nikolic is on the Mug's horse and that one of his opposition in tomorrow's race is Trustus, the horse on which Nikolic produced his much-criticized ride last week. One things for sure, he'll be trying big-time tomorrow on Diggersanddealers to beat Trustus home!
