It's no secret!
It's no secret that Brisbane horse Secrets Untold just loves Eagle Farm and despite the invasion of smart opposition from the south and the east, we're predicting that love affair with the track will continue tomorrow in race 2.
And it's not just the 50% winning record at Eagle Farm that Secrets Untold has in his favour tomorrow. The gelding is also undefeated in two starts over the 1500 metres (both at Eagle Farm).
Both of his runs this time in have been beauties, particularly his last start long-head second to the smart Beaded in the group 3 BRC sprint where he ran home strongly.
He's going to be extremely well-suited in the jump up from the 1350 metres to the 1500 metres tomorrow and it may well be worth remembering that he won at this track and distance third-up last preparation (before embarking on a spectacular four-in-a-row winning sequence).
With a few smart visitors engaged in the race tomorrow, let's hope that the bookies will be generous and that we might even manage around eachway odds.
The Queensland Oaks is the feature race at Eagle Farm tomorrow. We're suggesting Marheta at eachway odds is better value than the favourite Dariana.
If Latin News is going to be a force in the Stradbroke (and we believe he can be), then he'd have to be a moral in the Daybreak Lover Plate (race 5) at set weights against 3yos.
Although she's up against stronger opposition, don't let Graceful Anna get under your guard if she gets out to silly odds in the last race. She wasn't suited by conditions last start and can improve tomorrow.

It's Catapult again!
Horsetorque's Gavin Haynes declared Catapult a good thing last start and the horse won accordingly. He's back for another dose in the last at Eagle Farm tomorrow where Gavin remains just as confident as he was for the horse's last run. (Incidentally, Gavin is on a hot run at the moment with seven of his last nine VIP selections saluting.)
CATAPULTED (Eagle Farm race 8) is a speed machine with ratings of 116,116 and 111 in his last five starts which include a runner's up cheque in G1 company. They are the numbers of a top class galloper.
He is drawn beautifully here in the 6 and will get a cosy trail just behind the speed; throw in the Kavanagh polish and Ollie's brilliance and you have a bet of some substance.
Looks the perfect way to end a fantastic day on the punt, for mine.

Oh, to be famous!
If he keeps tipping the way he has for the last month or two, it's the Mug who will surely be famous, but it's his Brisbane tip Set For Fame that today's headline is referring to.
We'd better warn you that the Mug is very bullish about the chances of this Peter Moody-trained filly. "She only has to be physically right," says the Mug, "and she'll annihilate this lot tomorrow."
That's powerful stuff, Mug, why so?
The Mug is adamant that on his figures from her Melbourne performances, Set For Fame is close to the best 3yo filly in Australia and that at anywhere near her best, there's nothing in this race that can come anywhere near her.
And the Mug is suggesting that it is reasonable to expect that she could be returning to peak form, bearing in mind that her Sydney campaign was cut short with a virus and that her first run for six weeks last start when beaten just three lengths by Albert the Fat in the 1200 metre group 1 BTC Cup was meritorious.
It's reasonable to expect a big fitness improvement tomorrow while she's dropping back hugely in class to a filies and mares race where she carries just one more kilogram than she did last start in open group 1 class.
The step up to 1400 metres will suit her, a distance at which she's won once and been placed second from three tries. In fact, her last win was over 1400 metres earlier this year when she beat Irish Lights in the group 2 Angus Armanasco at Caulfield.
From her good draw, the Mug expects Set For Fame to get the run of the race and be mighty hard to beat.
The Mug can't remember the last winner he tipped in Melbourne and it looks like a tough day again there tomorrow with some wide open races.
He's settled on Disco Dan in the 1600 metre Provincial Plate (race 6). The Dan has a moderate overall winning record, but is a winner over the mile and actually hasn't been out of a place in four starts over the distance.
He ran second in this race last year and has been close up to some fair horses at his recent runs. He's at a double figure quote and is another one that might provide some value for a leg of your quaddie tomorrow.
It hasn't stopped raining in Sydney today which must place some doubts on tomorrow's meeting. The Mug's gone for heavy track winner Fusakeo in race 7 to provide value against the hotpot Thankgodyou'rehere who has a wet track failure beside his name.
Fusakeo is an on-pace runner trained by Gai Waterhouse who will be rock hard at his fourth run from a spell and suited under the conditions by the 3kg allowance. He's run second at his last two starts and the Mug reckons tomorrow's conditions give him a good chance to go one better.
The Mug was back in the winer's circle last week when the heavily-backed Love Conquers All romped home first-up in Sydney at a top fluc of $4.80 after longer prices had been bet earlier.
His Brisbane tip Keyora was beaten only around two lengths in the Grand Prix at $20+ and had big trouble trying to get a run in the straight. Stay on the trail, says the Mug.
