Anna a graceful bet first-up!
We're going to go with the class in Brisbane tomorrow and suggest a little something on super promising filly Graceful Anna in the 1000 metre Mick Dittman Plate for 3yos. We're pretty sure that if she doesn't quite get there tomorrow and you do your dough, you won't have to wait long until you get it back by following her throughout her coming campaign.
The David Pfieffer-trained filly had an unblemished campaign last time, remaining unbeaten in five runs which culminated with a win in the 1400 metre Magic Millions Trophy at the Gold Coast in January.
She's unbeaten on dead and slow tracks and has a win and a second placing from her two previous first-up efforts.
And we reckon that the confirmation of this filly's class is her defeat of recent AJC Derby winner Shoot Out in the group 3 Vo Rogue at Doomben the start before her Magic Millions win.
We note that last week's Brisbane headline horse Public Holiday is in race 5 tomorrow. It wasn't a bad run last week and we'll be surprised if the step up in distance tomorrow doesn't bring about further improvement. The barrier's a curse, but Timothy Bell aboard won't do any harm. Don't let her get under your guard at a big price.
This week's headline specials
Graceful Anna (Eagle Farm race 7)
Gold Water (Randwick race 3)
Garozzo (Sandown race 2)

Lindsay's Lay of the Day
Oh, oh, oh Ortensia, how could you do it to him? As cocky as ever after Neeson got rolled, our boy had to suffer the horror of a blemished record for the day as you brought distinction to yourself by being the only winner for the day to streak home from last on the turn.
This week's lays are:
Randwick race 1: Zingaling
Randwick race 4: Beneteau

This one's as cunning as a fox!
Horsetorque's Gavin Haynes chalked up another one last week and urges you to follow up on Vivid Vixen at Sandown tomorrow.
VIVID VIXEN (Sandown race 1) was well-backed last start where she stalked the leader in a slowly-run race and won going away.
Tomorrow's race is no harder, she only rises a kilo after an astute caim for a top apprentice and I can see her getting a cosy trail on the speed once more.
She should go back to back, for mine.

Rebel to plunder from across border!
The winners just keep rolling from the Mug with the win of Rangirangdoo in the Doncaster last week. He's looking to make it four winning weeks in a row tomorrow by latching onto southern visitor Border Rebel who resumes in the feature Hinkler Quality at Eagle Farm.
It's a competitive old affair tomorrow which means there should be plenty of value for whatever you want to back but the Mug is confident his choice has the credentials to give you a big sight.
And who are we to argue with the way he's been tipping lately?
Border Rebel has the outstanding record of nine wins and two placings from twelve racetrack starts. He's won three from five at the distance and is almost unbeaten first-up with three wins and a second from four first-up runs. And he's unbeaten in three starts on dead or heavy tracks.
He's won his last five starts, all on Sydney tracks and has the speed to dominate the race from his good draw with top apprentice Timothy Bell aboard.
Border Rebel is hugely promising and the Mug is confident he can keep his winning momentum intact when he resumes at Eagle Farm tomorrow.
The Mug's gone for another bold front-running type with his Sydney value tip Black Prince in the last race at Randwick tomorrow.
Although he's drawn out in eleven tomorrow, the Mug is confident that his horse will scoot across and lead easily in a race where he reckons there's not a lot of speed.
Black Prince loves the distance and has won three from six over the 1200 metre trip. He's won two from four first-up and has been primed for tomorrow's assignment with two recent barrier trials at Warwick Farm where he's won and run third. At around the present double-figure odds, the Mug reckons the chances are you'll get a great sight.
The Mug is having a stab at the potential of his Melbourne tip Jewel Thief in race 4 at Sandown tomorrow.
The lightly-raced Moody-trained 3yo was just pipped at her last run before a spell over the Sandown 1600 metres. That was at only her third race start.
She pulled badly at her first-up run recently when she was beaten three lengths over 1400 metres at Flemington. The Mug reckons the mile tomorrow and the switch to senior jockey Dwayne Dunn will just about see her winning.
Incidentally, the Mug sees that his winning Sires' Produce tip Yosei is at double figure odds in the 1600 metre Champion Stakes tomorrow. He cannot see any reason not to come into her again tomorrow, particularly if you're playing with the bookies' money from her last win.
