Christmas gift extravaganza for VIP punters!
Christmas came early last week for Whisper followers when the Mug Punter scored with Belscenica at $22 (top tote) in Melbourne and the ever reliable headline specials picked up another two from three when Its Prince scored in Melbourne at $7 and Latin News got home for Bart at $3 in Sydney.
But never one to do things by halves, Lindsay is about to heap more Christmas goodies on six lucky VIP punters.
Next week, we'll announce the names of five lucky VIP Club members who will each win a copy of the Horsetorque speed ratings reference manual, along with a free one-month subscription to the Horsetorque gold ratings service. Each of these prizes is valued at $100 each.
And then the following week, we'll announce the winner of our super prize draw, who will receive a free three-month gold level Horsetorque subscription, valued at $190.
All that you have to do to qualify for these prize draws is to have an active VIP betting account.
It's easy to open an account with Lindsay by making a direct deposit to his bank account or by using your credit card online. Or you can open an account in person with him at the track. Click here for more information on how to open a VIP betting account.
We're hoping VIP punters can get off to a good start at Doomben tomorrow by making Humma our Brisbane headline special in the first race.
We might be chancing our arm a bit here, considering that this horse possesses a woeful 12% winning strike rate and is a non-winner at the 2020 metre distance.
However, his strong finishing effort behind Secrets Untold last week suggests tomorrow's race will be right up his alley and we can see him getting the gun run in this race, perched behind the leaders on the fence.
There's no better rider of stayers than L. Cassidy and it may be worth noting that at his fifth run in (as is the case tomorrow) last preparation, Humma ran third with Black Pirahna in front of him in second placing. You'd think that a repeat of an effort like that would see him just about winning tomorrow's race.
We realise that our Sydney special Charming Rogue has shades of a Mug Punter tip about it, but our headline specials bank is so far in front, we thought we'd live just a little bit more dangerously here this week.
It's been a long time between drinks for Charming Rogue after winning his first seven straight, but we just can't get the horse's first-up run last prep out of our mind where he sat second, kicked clear and just wilted at the very end in the 1300 metre, group 2 QTC Cup to finish 1.8 length behind Ortensia.
With just 1.5kg above the minimum here, a repeat of anything anywhere near that effort would make him very hard to hold out. He's undefeated in two previous runs at Rosehill and we refuse to believe that experienced operators like Bailey and Colless wouldn't be in Sydney unless they considered the horse had come up this time in.
Our interstate headline specials for this week are Charming Rogue (race 5 Rosehill) and Cinecitta (race 1 Caulfield).
Whisper tips lead pro tipsters in Australia
The Whisper headline specials are currently sitting second behind Greg Miles in the Australian Pro Horse Racing Tipster Leader Board after spending much of the previous three months in the leading position.
During the last fifteen weeks, the headline specials have scored fourteen wins from thirty-five selections, at an average price of $4.10.
This is a 40% winning strike rate that has produced a whopping 64.6% profit on turnover.
It's incredible to think that VIP members have access to this service for free and confirms that there is no other bookie in Australia who looks after his clients like Lindsay.
Details of the australian Pro Horse Racing Tipster Leader Board can be found at www.thegreattipoff.com.

Another week, and another two bite the dust.

Caulfield race 7: Timetable

L'aubaine a godsend!
In English, the name means 'financial windfall' and that's exactly what Horsetorque's Gavin Haynes reckons will come your way if you stick with this week's VIP special at Morphetville.
L'AUBAINE (Morphetville race 2) looks most promising and comes here rock hard fit with a very strong confirmed edge in the ratings.
He gave away 6kg last start and just missed and will lead again here from the two gate and with the claim in the small field will prove tough to get past, for mine.

Zero in on this one!
The $200,000 George Moore will be super tough to win at Doomben tomorrow, but the Mug is confident that Zero Rock possesses the credentials to provide great eachway value in the race.
And when you look at the horse's stats, you've got to agree that the Mug has a point.
A winning record of seven from twelve overall, three from four at the track, four from six at the distance and unbeaten from two tries over the track and distance.
Throw in four from five first-up (the one defeat was on a wet track) and you'll be having your money on a very serious racehorse.
The icing on the cake, says the Mug, is that with all the speed pressure up front in this race, Zero Rock will get the run of the race perched off the speed. OK, Mug, you can stop there, we're convinced!
The Mug is very keen on his Sydney tip Rabbuka in the sixth at Rosehill tomorrow.
And when you have a close look at this horse's prospects, it's not hard to imagine the current double-figure quote going off bigtime.
Two wins and a second from three Rosehill starts, two wins and a second from three at the distance and three from four first-up all tell the story of a smart neddy.
Look a little more deeply and you'll discover that this horse beat Vision and Power first-up last preparation and you'd expect more of the same this time too after three recent barrier trial wins.
You won't find too many others tipping Fast Future in the last at Caulfield tomorrow, but the Mug reckons this stayer might surprise a few at double figure odds.
He was very taken with the horse's return to racing when he came from last on the turn to finish 1.4 lengths from Centennial Park, McClintock and co in the 1400 metre group 2 Aami Stakes. They'd make a nice old mess of tomorrow's field!
That was six weeks ago and the horse has been kept nice and fresh since; the claim will put him just 1.5kg over the limit and the Mug won't be surprised if he has the class to finish over the top of them tomorrow.
