The Weekend Whisper
|
The VIP stable maintained its hot recent form with a win and close second from just two runners on Saturday. Black Piranha ($3.40) won easily in Sydney and Bolle ($8.50) went down in a fighting finish in Melbourne.
Mr Adrenalin maintained his strong early Spring form when his VIP special Cholulu ($2.80) scored in Melbourne.
The Mug Punter kept his eye in with his value Special Devil Moon ($15) running third in a promising return for her Spring campaign.

The end is surely in sight as far as the resolution of the racetrack merger proposal in Brisbane is concerned.
Lindsay has long been an advocate of the merger and urges BTC members to vote in favour.

The Mug Punter

It's not only jockeys who can have a bad day at the track.
The Mug reports on his first big plunge on a country racetrack as an owner where he was brought undone by a fellow owner attempting to impress his girlfriend. And ultimately, of course, by the lack of ability of his horse...

Mr Adrenalin launches Spring carnival package!
With his VIP Club, Lindsay has sought to give his punters access to benefits and services that he hopes will put plenty of enjoyment into their punting experience. And for most punters, that usually boils down to backing plenty of winners. It's for this reason that since its inception, the Weekend Whisper has contained tips and analysis by the Adrenalin betting service.
And what a flow of winners VIP members have enjoyed from this service; the win of VIP special Rash Promise at $4.60 on 2 August was typical of Mr Adrenalin's performance during this time.
There is no financial connection at all between Lindsay and the Adrenalin people. He promotes Adrenalin simply because he likes their work and feels that his clients would appreciate Adrenalin's input. And it's for the same reason now that Lindsay is happy to support Mr Adrenalin in the promotion of his upcoming Spring carnival promotion.
Adrenalin are opening their books to accept new members to their exclusive racing support service. Members of this service receive race ratings, including staking and pricing guides for metropolitan racing on Saturdays and public holidays. Information is emailled direct to your inbox in racetime order so you'll never miss another race again.
A feature of the Adrenalin service is the personalised support and assistance every member receives. Two, thirty-minute training sessions
are included at the beginning of every membership, for example.
Punters
have the option of signing up for Adrenalin's Spring Carnival package, which covers all of the major meetings during the next four months, or you can sign up for their Bonanza Yearly package with discounted prices for the coming year.
For more information or to sign up for one of the packages, send an email to the Adrenalin team at belinda.adrenalin@bigpond.com

Lindsay's Racetrack Rant - 23 July 2008
The BTC wants your vote!
An event with the potential to change the future of Brisbane racing irrevocably will occur at 10.30 am on 8 August in the Satchel room at Doomben racecourse. Of course I’m referring to the upcoming vote that should bang the final nail in the merger of the BTC and QTC. If common sense prevails, and considering the leg-up the affirmative vote has been given, it’s impossible to conceive that the proposed new Brisbane Racing Club won’t be up and running by this time next year....

Horses to follow
It's almost starting to get a bit monotonous; for the third week in a row, there were just the two stable runners for a winner, although it was nearly two from two after Black Piranha ($3.40) bolted in with the third race in Sydney and Bolle ($8.50) went down for a fighting second to hot-pot and Mr Adrenalin special Cholula.
We've had nine stable runners during the last four Saturdays for four winners at odds of $7.50, $2, $4.20 and $3.40.
